Bible Reading- 7th Jan 2016

12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.( Daniel 12:12New International Version (NIV))

12 Go, proclaim this message toward the north:

“‘Return, faithless Israel,’ declares the Lord,
‘I will frown on you no longer,
for I am faithful,’ declares the Lord,
‘I will not be angry forever.
13 Only acknowledge your guilt—

you have rebelled against the Lord your God,
you have scattered your favors to foreign gods
    under every spreading tree,
    and have not obeyed me,’”
declares the Lord.( Jeremiah 3:12-13New International Version (NIV))

21 So then, no more boasting about human leaders! All things are yours, 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas[a] or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, 23 and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.( 1 Corinthians 3:21-23New International Version (NIV))

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature[a] God,
    did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature[b] of a servant,
    being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
    he humbled himself
    by becoming obedient to death—
        even death on a cross!

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.( Philippians 2:5-11New International Version (NIV))

I will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord,
the deeds for which he is to be praised,
according to all the Lord has done for us—
yes, the many good things
    he has done for Israel,
according to his compassion and many kindnesses.
( Isaiah 63:7New International Version (NIV))

However, as it is written:

“What no eye has seen,
    what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”[a]
the things God has prepared for those who love him—
(1 Corinthians 2:9New International Version (NIV))

Through him we received grace and apostleship to call all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from[a] faith for his name’s sake. And you also are among those Gentiles who are called to belong to Jesus Christ.( Romans 1:5-6New International Version (NIV))

13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.( Romans 15:13New International Version (NIV))

18 Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way. (Hebrews 13:18New International Version (NIV))

30 I urge you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me. 31 Pray that I may be kept safe from the unbelievers in Judea and that the contribution I take to Jerusalem may be favorably received by the Lord’s people there, 32 so that I may come to you with joy, by God’s will, and in your company be refreshed. 33 The God of peace be with you all. Amen.( Romans 15:30-33New International Version (NIV))
